Points of Unity

Dignity:

• We, the workers, should have equal opportunities to access the wealth we create. 
• We provide the labor that allows society to function and our labor supports life itself. 
• We deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. 
• Dignity means freedom from discrimination and harassment for our immigration and documentation status, race, and sexual and gender identities.
•  This is why me must fight.  Why we must resist!

Resistance:

• We will march by the thousands to show our strength.
• We will build our communities and share in one
• anothers’ struggles.
• We will seek out, speak out and act against the
• forces that undermine our dignity.
• We will challenge austerity in all its forms.
• We will fight for the life we want to live and
• build the world we want to live in.

Dignidad:

• Nosotros, los trabajadores debemos tener igualdad de oportunidades para acceder a la riqueza que creamos.
• Con nuestro trabajo contribuimos al funcionamiento de la sociedad y de la vida misma.
• Merecemos ser tratados con dignidad y respeto.
• Por dignidad entendemos el gozo de ser libres sin sufrir discriminación y acoso ya sea por nuestra condición migratoria, estatus legal, raza, sexo y/o identidad.
• ¡Es por esto que debemos luchar! ¡Es por eso que debemos resistir!

Resistencia:

• Este Primero de Mayo miles de personas marcharemos para mostrar nuestra fuerza.
• Impulsaremos nuestras comunidades y nos acompañaremos en nuestras respectivas luchas.
• Identificaremos, actuaremos y nos organizaremos contra las fuerzas que actualmente socavan nuestro derecho a la dignidad.
• Desafiaremos la austeridad en todas sus formas.
• ¡Vamos a luchar por la vida que queremos tener y construir el mundo que queremos vivir!
